Evaporative Emission Control System (California and International Models)

Inspect all evaporative emission control system hoses and connections. Make sure all connections are fully seated.
The canister is located under the rear fender. Make sure it is fully seated on the mounting bracket.
Inspect connections at the evaporative emissions canister to ensure they are secure. The vent line coming from the tank should be connected to the port labeled “TANK.” The purge line should be connected to port labeled “PURGE.”
