Image

Brake Pedal

The brake pedal is located on the floor to the left of the accelerator pedal. Push the brake pedal toward the floor to slow or stop the vehicle. Apply the brakes before turning the key on.
WARNING
Constant brake use (riding the brakes) can cause brakes to overheat and fail, which could lead to an accident resulting in serious injury or death. Do not drive with your foot resting or riding on the brake pedal.

Accelerator Pedal

The accelerator pedal is located on the floor to the right of the brake pedal. To begin moving or to increase vehicle speed, gradually push the accelerator pedal toward the floor. Holding the accelerator pedal down continuously will accelerate the vehicle to the maximum speed.
The accelerator pedal will function only if the key is on.
To slow the vehicle, release the accelerator pedal and apply the brake. The electric motor provides additional braking force when the brake pedal is applied.
