Seats

caution
Prolonged sun exposure can cause excessive heating of the steering wheel and seats. Use caution when handling hot surfaces to avoid burns.
Before operating the vehicle, always push down on all seat backs to ensure the latches are secure.

Front Seat Removal

  1. Pull up on the seat latch lever located under the front edge of the seat.

  2. Tilt the seat forward.
  3. Lift the seat upward to remove it from the vehicle.
  4. Reverse this procedure to reinstall the seat. Make sure the seat tabs at the front edge of the seat slide onto the seat retainer tubes.
  5. Press down firmly at the rear of the seat to engage the rear latch.

Rear Seat Removal

Both rear seats can be modified to allow for additional storage space. Use the following procedure.
  1. Reach behind the headrest and pull on the latch to release the seat back.

    OPTIONAL: The seat back can be removed entirely or reinstalled once seat base is flipped, depending on preference.

  2. Once the seat back is removed, grab one of the straps at the rear of the seat base.

  3. Use the straps to pull upward and flip the seat base completely over.

  4. To reinstall the seat back, align the bottom stems with their appropriate housings. Once aligned, push the seat headrest back until the latch makes an audible ‘click’ sound.

If needed, there are 8 tie-down points (4 for each seat area) available for holding down stored items.

Seat Adjustments

Be mindful of hands and fingers when adjusting the seat. Placing hands or fingers in the path of the exposed rollers can lead to injury.
The front seats are equipped with an adjustment lever under the front edge of the seat, pull the lever to the left. Slide the seat forward or rearward to the desired position. Release the lever. The seat will lock into the new position.

To adjust seat tilt, adjustment bolts can be removed and re-installed at a different tilt setting. The driver side has two adjustment bolts, one on each side, and has three tilt hole options.

The rear passenger seats cannot be adjusted for comfort. They can only be adjusted/removed to make room for storage. See the Seat Removal section for details.
