Matte Clear Coat Cleaning (if equipped)

Matte finish products are prone to trapping dirt, oils and other contaminants. POLARIS recommends cleaning with warm water and a mild dish detergent. Use a soft sponge to gently rub the surface and rinse with clean warm water. For stubborn stains such as grease or oil, use a citrus based cleaner (3M Citrus Base Cleaner recommended). Spray onto the area to be cleaned and rub with a soft sponge. Allow to sit for a couple of minutes and wash away with clean warm water. Repeat as necessary to clean the surface.

NOTICE

Never use a polishing/buffing wax or any sponge that has an abrasive surface. These products will buff the matte surface of the finish resulting in a glossy finish. It is not recommended that you clean matte finishes with a pressure washer as this will further imbed contaminants into the clear coat and possibly damage the labels.
