Getting Started

Use the ignition key to turn the PIDD on or off, or to reboot (when necessary).

Models with a Battery

ON	Turn the key to the ON/RUN position.
OFF	Turn the key to the OFF position.
REBOOT	Option 1: Turn the key OFF for 5 seconds, then turn the key to ON/RUN.
REBOOT	Option 2: With the key ON, press and hold Display Key 5 for 20 seconds, then release.

Models without a Battery

ON	Start the engine.
OFF	Turn the key to the OFF position.
REBOOT	Option 1: Turn the key OFF for 5 seconds, then start the engine.
REBOOT	Option 2: With the engine running, press and hold Display Key 5 for 20 seconds, then release.

NOTE

Using the auxiliary engine stop switch on a snowmobile to turn off the engine will not turn off the PIDD.
